About
An innovative new product from Teksoft, Speedbooster helps you get maximum performance out of your mobile device.
We've designed it to be completely safe for your hardware, and easy to use. The built in Benchmark module will easily show your performance gain.
SpeedBooster 2.0 is composed of 6 parts, built to work together to make your device faster and more powerful.
In simple terms, we could say that SpeedBooster is "SAFE overclocking", since it allows you to focus the CPU power to various programs running on your device, without stressing the hardware. Besides this, a large number of tweaks has been added to control the functionality and performance of the Memory, Video and Storage!

Speedbooster Interface
1.Processes is what entire SpeedBooster v1.3 used to be, with a few more options and a "key and finger"friendly interface.

You can adjust the speed of the running tasks, run/close applications(new) and view the cpu usage.
With SpeedBooster you can increase the speed of your favorite game, GPS application or other high CPU consumer tasks.
"Processes" component consists of two different modules: The Monitor, a background module that permanently checks the running applications and adjusts their cpu-speed according to a database, created and modified by the user. The "Processes" Interface similar with the previous version of Speedbooster:
"Processes" interface components:
1) Monitor on/off button
Light green writing "Monitor" indicates that the Monitor is on, red writing indicates that the monitor is off.
By pressing the button you can toggle it on/off.
2) With the button "Add" You can add an exe file / an installed program. A list with exe files / Shortcuts will appear. This way you can select any of your favorite programs!
3) Press Button Refresh to refresh the list of running programs
4) List of items representing the running tasks + the tasks saved in the database. Each item contains the task name, CPU usage, real time adjustable slider for the process speed, the new button that you can use to turn the task on and off, and program indicator marked by the "eye" opened or closed showing that title is monitored or not.

2.Memory offers the possibility to free the memory used by all those applications that are running in the background and that you are not using anymore.
Caution: Save your work as SpeedBooster closes all background applications and you might loose unsaved work.
There is a small chance your device would soft reset when using this option, because of a system process being closed accidentally. While not being a serious concern, this is specific to each device type, and we cannot foresee this aspect for all hardware devices available on the market.

The interface shows the amount of memory used. Once you've pushed the "free" button a popup appears showing the amount of memory released.

3.Video Speed can be used to speed up the drawing of the display by adjusting the slider to the right, or decrease the speed to save more battery power.
That's right slowing the speed will save battery and increasing it will use more of your battery power! So make the adjustment to fit your needs.

Disabling the window animations also contributes to the video speed of your device, select this option if you don't need any extra fancy effects like those displayed when minimizing/maximizing windows.

4.Storage Performance:
Select "Increase file system cache" if you'd like to speed up the overall performance.
Speed up the performance of file management by selecting the "Increase file filter cache" option.
Internet cache limit adjust the cache limit for Pocket Internet Explorer to save extra storage space.
Free some memory on your device by pressing the button "Remove temporary internet files, cookies and Temp folder files".
Caution: All temporary internet files, cookies and Temp folder files will be deleted, by removing them some of the web pages you have already visited might take more time to open than usual ( reloading the data), so do this from time to time only to clear the data that you might not need anymore.
To save some memory set the default location for IE temporary files to Storage. Make sure you have inserted the SD card before you enable this option, otherwise it will fail creating the required folder.

Select the option "Keep cab files after install" if you'd like your cab files to be kept after installation, otherwise the cab files will be deleted after the content is deployed on your device.
Hint: Go to Start->Settings select System tab and tap on Remove Programs. Remove all programs that you don't need anymore.

5.Tools

This group contains the Real Close button component, enable it if you want to have a in the right upper corner a button that really closes your applications not just minimizes them.
Enable Show battery meter if you want to have a fine line on the top part of the screen showing the battery status. A line from the left corner to the right one, means a fully charged battery.
Enable the battery hack option if you want your battery to last a little longer by setting up some registry keys.

6.Benchmark is the component that will test and mark your device for performance.
Three options are available, first runs a benchmark, meaning it will start a performance test to verify your device.
When the benchmark test is complete, you can either press the Results button or the Compare button.
These two last options are used to visualize the test results as nice colored charts, or to compare your windows mobile device with other models.

7.Press Default Settings if you want to revert to default registry values that were present before installing SpeedBooster.

A. Press the -/+ to decrease/increase the speed of the task. Note: By adjusting the speed lower or higher than normal(middle) the process will be automatically added to the monitor"eye opened", but you can unmonitor it by taping on the button "eye".

Q 3.How to add a program to the monitor database (so it can be monitored all the time/speed adjusted automatically)?
A. Tap on the button "eye" corresponding to the item you'd like to be monitored. If the eye is opened the program is monitored, if it's closed the program is not monitored.

Changing the priority of a process can make it run faster or slower (depending on whether you raise or lower the priority), but it can also cause undesired results including system instability or affect the performance of other processes.

Boost your Tasks with SpeedBooster, so you can get the maximum out of your Mobile Device!
