We have spent a lot of time thinking of a solution that would fit your needs. Created both for the 2003 and the 2005 devices, the Smartbar software perfectly integrates into your Mobile Device's Today Screen for providing everything that is needed to make your device even smarter. Its high performance assures a perfect functionality that creates the impression that the Smartbar is a native part of your Today Screen. Having the Smartbar installed you'll be able to benefit of its many features.
Feedback is more than welcomed and will help us in improving your "smart" experience.
Best regards,

Most of the users agree that using a Mobile Device is fun, but sometimes entering large amounts of text can prove to be a painful experience.
The small screen is the biggest issue, and unless someone comes with a innovative idea, the default software keyboard is barely usable.
To overcome some of these issues, you can use Fingertouch PRO.
For your convenience, I've attached the CAB file here.
Just to name a few of its features:
fT9 predictive text input capabilities
Multilanguage support English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Greek, Russian, Danish, Dutch, Norwegian, Swedish including built in autocomplete dictionaries for all.
Configurable layout, including keyboard Skin, text font, size and color
Works with various screen heights, square, qvga, vga, etc
It supports 96x96DPI and 128x128DPI. TrueVGA compatible
Can be installed on SDCard to save storage space
And much more, NOW you can try it yourself.

As I wrote. I haven't start anything, yet! The error occurred after installing! At the moment I soft reset the device and I get the below as suspected.
Starting from TCP gives the same error. |

Hi krab,
Thanks for your feedback.
The error is caused by a missing .dll or by a .dll that is too old.
We suggest you install a newer firmware (RUU) on your device. |

I have the latest firmware ( version 1.01.11B (8 Mar 05) on my device.
Al the other software I have installed, and that's a lot work fine.
I just started to do a manual install, like is written in de doc.
It give me this error for ALL files
Tap on teksoft-cer-1.cab . After this is installed, go to 2)
2) Tap on teksoft-cer-2.cab . Next go to 3)
3) Tap on smartbar.signed.arm.cab

Hi Teksoft,
Can you please give a brief description of what Smartbar in fact is? I guess it's a today plugin, like iLauncher, SPB Pocket Plus etc, but is it so? If so, I guess I could give it a try on my Hima, upgraded with WM5, and give you some feedback later
Cheers

Oluck,
a complete description would be:
As you might know the term of "Window" comes together with the Windows operating system (not only), pointing to some informational structures that allow a user to access and modify his data, int the same way he would interfeer with a bidimensional table containing various elements.
Your Today Screen is a window. It is, if you want, the equivalent of the Desktop on the Windows XP, 9X... . The Today Screen is a big window that contains other small windows (the plugins).
Smartbar is not a plugin, but a separate window, that would push the original Today Screen to make some space for itself. Actually the Smartbar and the Today Screen have the same parent window.
Still, a component of Smartbar, The PowerPlugin is indeed a Today Screen Plugin, as it resides in the Today Screen and has the approapiate internal structure.
I hope this explains everything |

One must be able to "absorb" critisisme too. That's something which can be learned too:D
I am sorry guys. I like to buy but therefor the product has to work. _________________ EeePC 900HD 160GB WINXPH

krab I can't follow. You quoted my answer towards Menneisyys 's review.
And I just said that the review seemed objective (as in showing both good and bad parts of the reviewed app.), because there were non-sense talks like why does the setup download take I don't know how much time or why is the register mechanism built the way it is etc... (which I would call subjective, as in : each has his own experience with things arround him )
For your questions we don;t have an answer yet but we'll post here when we do.
Sorry for any missunderstanding. |
