Here is a snapshot to show the plugin's layout:
Pressing the first icon (from left) would open this setup dialog:
Here you can setup the name of the phone connection to be dialed when pressing the 5th button (butterfly symbol) and the WLAN SSID to connect to when pressing the 6th button (from left to right).
The other buttons are similar to version 1.0, and would provide quick access and control over the radio devices on your mobile system.
Others might post their experience with this software here.

Improvements
Hi,
This plugin is extremely useful, but I would like to sugest some things:
- Smaller and transparent icons (one Today line)
- IRDA toggle
- Configuration to choose what buttons I want in today
Everything works fine on my HTC Wizard, thank you

Your suggestion is very good, we'll keep it in mind for the next version.

Any news about the next version??
I'm a little anxious cause this plugin is very good and essencial for me but has some major bugs, like the one from the wifi button that doesn't work after a soft-reset, only after pushed from the comm manager.

It will load wi-fi drivers at startup
Hello, I'm new to the forum. Can anyone help me with this issue?
The device i use is Eten M700. When i try the plug-in (both version), the wifi button won't work unless i use the OEM wireless mgr to enable or disable the wifi, after that it works great.
The reason is the wifi button can not get the wireless card because the driver is not loaded at boot time unless the OEM wireless mgr load the driver afterwards.
I change some registry setting to have the wifi driver loaded at boot time but the problem i got is WZCSVC will config the wifi card, search network and get it connected. So everytime i have to disable the wifi after reset if i don't want to use it.
Is there anyway to only get the wifi driver loaded at boot time but suspend the card rather than haveing it work? Can registry change can do this ?
Thank you.

Hi,
On an i-mate Jasjar, same as HTC Universal, with a non official WM6 rom:
After installing on opened Extended Rom, didn't worked...
Installing on device, everything's ok.
After a soft reset:
- the settings on the first button are still there. It would be nice if a proper window, with the ok button on it, instead of the top right corner of the screen.
- the phone button works as expected.
- the bt button appeared red, and bt was indeed off, even if my profile program is set to a bt on profile. If I reset the profile program to the same bt on profile, it turns on bt, and the bt button on TekComm changes to blue, accordingly. Changing to any other profile, allways get the expected result, in both my profile program and TekComm. After a second soft reset, it appears red, but after 2-3 seconds time, turned to blue.
- the wifi button worked ok, right after a soft reset, without having to go into the Wireless Manager.
More on the last two buttons, when I get home, tonight.

Sorry, uninstalled.
It completely messed up my wifi settings. After getting home, where I connect trought a wifi acess point, my jasjar connected the first time, as usual, as I changed the profile, from a general one, to another that starts wifi and Opera internet browser.
But after that, I disconnected, changed to a general profile again, and clicked on the last button of TEKcomm, and from that point on, I could not reconnect to my wifi again, no matter what I try!
Even after uninstall TEKcomm, delete al connection settings, soft reset, and redefine wifi settings, it would not connect.
The only solution was to restore a backup file.
TEKcomm is a nice Today plugin, and gives direct and immediate access to all comm functions, but it's not an essential software, so I'll wait for the next version, before giving it another go, if you don't mind.

Re: Tekcomm plugin v2.0
I am a little worried cause this plugin is very good to me essential, but there are some major errors, such as the one from the WIFI button is not working, soft reset, can only push back from the Comm Manager.
