1) Connect the Mesada PND to your Desktop computer via Active Sync
2) Start PNDUi_Installer.exe
3) Follow the instructions on screen:
--- Press Deploy to install PNDUi on your Mesada GPS
--- Press Uninstall to revert back to the Mesada Interface

Note: This is a sensitive tools and will replace the files on your PND's ROM permanently!
Make sure to follow the PND Installer instructions carefully

This is just for a particular model of PNA, or can be tested on other brands?

It does look better than most GUI that comes with many models!

This was designed for a WinCE 5.0 device from Mesada.

Some users tested it on the same unit, but running WinCE 4.2 and it didn't work.

When you have the chance, give it a try.

I've a Mesada GPS 4,3" ( http://cgi.ebay.es/Portatil-4-3-GPS-Nav ... 1c0ce33f04). In order to be able to customize my GPS I installed PNDUi 1.0 and I've the following problem.
Most of icons doesn't work:
- Street Navvigation. File not found. Error starting application, make sure you've configured it correctly
- Settings. Goes to second screen, but clicking in all incons give the same message as before
- Bluetooth. Idem
- File Explorer. OK, it goes to Total Comander
- Music. Error File not found....
- Video. Works
- Photos. Works

Do you know how can I solve it or uninstall this app.
Exploring with Total Comander I've seen I still having in \Mesada\$MSD$\App hidden directory following files:
- launch.exe. PNDUI launch file
- Launch_mesada.exe
- Launcher.exe. Old GUI software

I've also the problem that any change I do in the register or Mesada or windows folders dissapear when I turn on my GPS.
I've tryed to uninstall PNDUI from my PC with GPS connected, but it makes an error and gets frozen.

Could anybody help me?

Is anybody still using CE based navigation?? I got fed up with my Mesada a while back, and pretty much just allow my mobile device to run all of my navigation. Android seems to be much less buggy than CE, am I right? Every time I have been challenged with Windows CE I have been forced to run disaster recovery of some sort. There is only so much pst repair I will run before I decide to make a switch.
