Did you find anything on this?

I never tried but what happens if:
1) you kill cprog.exe
2) device goes into suspension
3) somebody rings ?

On the called party a resume happens while the calling one just receives ring notifications.

.... PDA is awaken then so an application could receive notifications and handle the call .

Ok then, so this is good news.

Now you can try the following:

1) kill cprog.exe
2) install your VoIP/cryptophone.

Call this device. It should awake on call, and your application should receive the call notification.
