waveoutWrite API

Postby temp123 » Tue May 08, 2007 1:21 pm

Hi,

I have a Voice application to send/recv audio from remote end. After around 60 such calls, waveoutWrite API takes too much time and i see too much distortion in voice. Typically the API takes less than 2 milliseconds but after around 60 such calls the API takes about 150 milliseconds.

Let me know if there is a way to overcome this. After this i need to soft reset the device to get my audio working again.

Regards,

Could you please check the system's free memory during these tests?

Do you mean the program memory that normally appears in Memory control panel applet. It is more than 20MB while this issue occurs. It happens in few calls after soft reset, so i dont think that memory is an issue.

Ok. Yes I was reffering to a possible memory leak.
