Likewise, having only just bought BM, surely I'm not expected to have to pay all over again? After the all the recommendations I've made:-(

If anyone has any success with the Treo 700W, let me know. Thanks.

... IMHO 2.0 brings more features, so the development work must be justified somehow. I think that this was a good initiative from Teksoft to offer the Upgrade option (so its not paying "all over again" is just paying the difference to have the new features too)

I need BM. I didn't expect the update from v1 to v2 would be such a mess. Should I just re-install BM1 until this gets sorted.

On the desktop: reinstall BT drivers and remake all links and partnerships, remove the MS ActiveSync V4.2, clean the registry and reinstall AS 4.2.
On the TYTN: hard reset, reinstall all software.
To be honest I don’t know what happened exactly, MS alone is able to make this kind of problem without the help of anybody else (grin), but the starting point is because BM doesn’t work correctly.
admin wrote:The installer is a step forward. Sorry to disagre with you. 3CAB files were too much for most of the users: they didn't know what to do with those.
If I give you a bunch of 10files, maybe you won't be able to use them, but hey, if I give you one single exe file, named click_me.exe or setup.exe you will do that (click) and have your app installed. I guess the idea is clear now.
Further more the new site (www.teksoftbluemusic.com) clearly presents a F.A.Q. section. Entry 1. shows exactly what you need to do in order to use the installer.
After teksoft-cer-1.cab is installed you need to press the OK button in the right corner, teksoft-cer-2.cab starts. Then press OK again and the last cab (bluemusic) installs itself. ... All is shown in the FAQ section.
Yes the same 3 cab files as in previous, all put together in a nice, compact installer.
teksoft-cer-1.cab and teksoft-cer-2.cab are security certificates and yes they need to be there. Why? Ask Microsoft.
I don't get it. You are judging an entire app, from the problems you had with the installer? Sorry but you are wrong. Instead of seeing multiple improvments (most of them required by yourself and other users) and simply reading the manual or the FAQ section you get stuck at something very easy.

the problems you had were caused by a misuse of the software. Why? Because used correctly, the installer works perfectly, doesn't it?
I still have no answer as to why it installs the security files when:-
- No other software does this.
- Why install them again if your other products have already installed them? Can you simply skip these?
- Does the De-install routine remove them?

Then, something similar to the system dialer comes up from nowhere but without the call list.
run into a issue that when I turn it off, the 'BM' screen changes to the 'off-line' logo but exists all of a sudden

The file 'BM2_Monitor.exe' cannot be opened. Either it is not signed with a trusted certificate, or one of its components cannot be found. You might need to reinstall or restore this file.

Blue Music 2.0 is great and adds some really useful new features

If it's not too early to ask will the next version be skinable? I think I saw somewhere that skins are about to be supported. I'm using a red today background and I'd like to change the blue-colored plugin to something else.

It's lost the ability to revert to a traditional Today plug-in look. I guess skins are supposed to be the solution, but IMO that's overkill.
Also, my request to allow us to assign the re-direct to a hard button has been provided, but only allowing us to use the right soft button. This will NEVER be used for BM as I already have it allocated to another use - I wanted to be able to assign this action to a button of my own choice. Since I assume that the current method uses some form of exe, can we simply know what this is so we can assign it to alternative buttons?
Ringtone to Headset = X yet it still rings (loud) in the headset.
After-call resume = v' (tick:-) but it never does.
Maybe the other functions don't operate either - I've not tried, but I really would like these to function as they ought. Suggestions?
