Speakerphone v1.0.002

Small projects created to fit certain needs. Any of these might turn into a bigger application. It depends on everyone's feedback.

Hi, I have O2 XDA Stealth (WM5 with AKU 3.0 ROM). Some time ago I have isntalled HTC Smartdialling (package from ValeraVi version 3 from xda-developers). But then my Spekerphone stopped work. The button during a call is there, but when I tap it, nothing happen. When I go to menu and select Turn the speakerphone on, still nothing. When I try to use the trick with keeping the green key, it will not enable the speakerphone but it will try to hold the current call (I receive the message that the current call couldn't be put on hold). I tried to install your software and hoped that it will remap my speakerphone keys back to work, but it hasn't. Have you any idea how to do it manually (only deinstalling of smartdialling did not helped). Thank you very much[/img]

I'm using a MortScript to call the SpeakerPhone.exe via a voice command. I suppose I could create a shortcut .lnk to the .exe and place in the \Windows\start menu\ path, but I want to be able to use call this program in some other scripts.

Is there a way to pass a parameter to the .exe to Turn On if OFF and to Turn OFF if ON? I know what "Toggle" means, btw, and that's not what I'm asking. :D

I'd like to set up a script for ON and a separate script for OFF. In essence, I'll use the voice commands: "Start SpeakerPhoneON" and "Start SpeakerPhoneOFF".

If there is no parameter to pass to the .exe... is a Registry value readable for speakerphone status?

Also, I don't seem to be getting anything other than a message and an icon on the start menu telling me that the speakerphone is on.

I don't see a program interface with a dialpad.

I installed the WM 2005 version on a Palm Treo 700w.

Regards,

JDC

Still looking for an answere to the scripting question.

Also, I was able to get the app installed on the today screen. It does not seem to want to be installed on the storage card of my Treo 700w.

I did not see the modified dialpad, however. Is it in another .exe file?

1. In the freeware webpage, your description for speakerphone seems to be copied from A2DP Toggle. You might want to take a look at that.

2. I was not successful in using your older version of speakerphone. With version 1.2, still no go. The only thing that seems to work is the reject call function. Auto answer and speakerphone still don't work for me. I can get speakerphone function if I press hardware green phone button for a few seconds to get it working.

I was using O2 IIs with WM5 rom (Helmi or xplode) and now I'm using O2 IIs with WM6 rom (Helmi).

Thanks.

If you set any value other than NA on a t-mobile wing you get bombarded by a never ending series of speakerphone is on notifications.

What if you toggle the speakerphone using the Start->Programs shortcut?

Speakerphone works partially on FSCLoox t830

Postby merlo » Fri Nov 23, 2007 9:44 pm

Hello,
I have installed the program on my FSC Loox T830 trying to solve the problem of the Phone that doesn't allow to set up the free voice speaker as standard.
It works, but after the first call you receive you have to set up the free voice manually again, by clicking on the Speakerphone toogle again.
It seems that the Phone on WM5, or at least on the t830, close automatically the free voice at the end of the call...
In any case it is better then without it...

I have also a standing notification about the freevoice on, and I cannot delete it.

Any solution?
thank you
Vittorio

It's not working ...

Postby linus_wildcat » Tue Aug 12, 2008 11:07 pm

Hi All.

I found this small gadget as it would solve the problem with picking up a call during driving a car.

But it does not work at all on my HTC 3300 with Win6.
Afert installation nothing seems to be different. There is no Today Item and you even cannot enable it as it is just not in the list of Today plugins.
When starting the exe from the installation folder the left softbutton changed to Speakerphone is enabled and you cannot change this.

However what is on the screen it does not what it should.

Deactivating is possible only after a soft reset and deinstallation.

I really would love this tool.....
