Modify pim.vol

Hi,

Is there a way to modify the pim.vol file on the windows mobile 5.0 device.

I need to access the clog.db after mounting the vol file using CeMountDbVol.

What exactly do you mean by modify the database?
Insert/delete entries in the database here is an open topic on this subject:

Modify the structure of the database (fields/fields type) is NOT doable.

Hi,

I have gone though the post, but the API's which are mentioned, i am not able to get that successfully executed. I am getting error, I also have verifeid the parameters.

Mounting of volume is successul, but i fail to get the CeOpenDatabaseInSession working.

Also, I want to add/delete/modify the data in clog.db, particularly the call log database.

If you hav'nt made or received any calls yet, clog.db might not be present (I think depending on the device), so depending on the GetLastError() from CeOpenDatabaseInSession, you might consider making a call from the phone to ensure it's there.
