Volumecontrol for bluetooth headsets

Postby marfra » Sun Dec 23, 2007 1:22 pm

Hi community,

im using a PDA with WM6.0 (HTC TyTn PDA) with a bluetooth headset of SonyEricsson HBH-IV840.

This headset is a really tiny thing, the reason I've bought it.

Unfortunately it doesn't have any volume control in form of buttons. The headset expects, that the volume control is made on the phone itself. Because I'm not using an SonyEricsson PDA this function doesn't work.

Does somebody of you know about a WM6.0 plugin, which allow to control the bluetooth volume through the PDA?

I'd appreciate any tip or hint how to deal with this issue

Thank you
marfra

Hm, interesting idea, basically the headset's volume is configured using AT commands (similar to a phone modem)

one of the developers here might provide more details on this, or maybe a little tool for it.
