FingerTouch PRO

Sorry to say, but I uninstalled this PRO product as quickly as I uninstalled ver 1.0. The application is not useful on my HTC Touch phone. The softkeys are just too close together and not responsive enough for practical use.

I don't know that any softkey keyboard is ever going to be as good as a hardware type. For now, I will continue to use the MS Transcriber for input which works pretty well.

Hm you must be a real fan of that MS Transcriber

Did you see the video on www.fingertouchpro.com ?

You won't get that speed with the transcriber. Ever

Ok now seriously, Fingertouch PRO is much more then the regular soft keyboards.

For eg. for me it's so important to be able to change it's size.
And while typing long texts, I find the T9 a must.

Yes Johny, I saw the video. I am only giving my experience. Perhaps my HTC Touch is just not the right phone for this application. I don't have much trouble with Transcriber. If you are a fairly neat writer to begin with, it works good.

I found when using FingerTouch Pro as I did with ver 1.0 that my finger keeps hitting other buttons in the process and it is just still a very cramped experience. Space and Beackspace keys are also just not big enough for me.

Just my opinion.

You should enable gestures from the settings panel. With a slide to the left you can have the backspace, and a slide to the right gives you space.

Easy.

Judging a software really requires time and passion. Enjoy!
