Dear All,

We are proud to announce that our first end-user application, PhoneREC is on the finish line and it is preparing for a launch.

This product enables the user to record his phone conversations, to save them in different audio formats and to upload them to desktop for backup purposes.

More info and pictures in the Products category on the main page.

Beta Testing

We would like to have 2 volunteers to participate in the Beta Testing program for the PhoneREC application.

These 2 mentioned above must sign a NDA with Teksoft, Co. and test the application as a normal user would do (by using it :) ). Any bugs must be reported by mail.

The help is rewarded by a free licence for this application.

Cheers,

Radu

Dear Carty,

the beta program for PhoneREC is suspended for the time being, and we cannot add any other Beta testers.

But there will be other similar programs that you will be able to atend to in the future.

Best regards,
Radu

Well i missed it then :(

Anyway, i heard that the audio from the speakerphone, is not routed through the OS. Are you able to record it? Cuz, when using the built-in recorder for recording, it only records what we speak to the mic and apparently the other persons voice coming from the speakerphone is not recorded.

Regards
Carty..

Dear Carty,

We have encountered some issues related to the AUDIO driver that we are using for this software. We are currently working on a fix, and hopefully we are close to it.

We will keep all of you informed about the status on this thread.

Cheers,
Mr. A.

This project is going to make a lot of people happy if it pulls through. If it does materialize, I'm sure it will be worth the wait - however painful the wait may be! Thanks for putting your efforts into this.

is this project dead ??
no news , no word , nothing ???
I was reading on the net that it is not a software problem .
" PPC Pone's route the sound of the phone conversation completely separately from the Pocket PC part – they just don't route the sound to the PPC and they, therefore, can't record the sound of the other party directly "
http://www.pocketpcmag.com/blogs/index. ... 513&more=1

would love to buy this software

can't wait !

Hi dno,

Thanks for your thoughts.

The project is far from dead, but because of its exclusivity we didnt post much information. Still the hard part is not yet completed, and we'll have to be lucky going over that last obstacle too.

What you said about voice routing is correct.
Still, have you ever thought of what is happening with the voice if you use a ... BT headset?

We still dont have a deadline, I hope to have it soon.
