Problem with Samsung

Postby winselot » Mon Sep 15, 2008 8:41 am

Hi,I use a Samsung i900 and installed Bluemusic. The installation was fine with no errors at all. I can switch between headset and phone but in headset mode ther is no sound. My headset accepts voice dial and the headset is working properly with the phone application. But I cannot get other sound. Any idea what ti do????

Problem with Samsung

Postby kbern » Fri Oct 10, 2008 11:45 pm

I have the same problem, with a Samsung BlackJack II and a Motorola H700 headset... I can get BlueMusic to mute the phone's speaker, but I can't get anything to play through the headset.

How come no one from Teksoft replies to this thread? Is there an official position on their support of Samsung? Do they plan on supporting it in the future?

The Samsung phones, starting with the Blackjack, have all had an issue routing audio over bluetooth.

We are trying to overcome these hardware problems, by creating a special audio driver that would handle the bluetooth devices properly.

These changes should be incorporated in the new BlueMusic 3, but you'd better keep and eye on the news section on www.teksoftco.com for the official news.

If this is to be done, it would be before December this year, and from what I know, the only such solution for the Samsung devices (and a few more from Palm).

Thanks a lot for the reply. I made myself a note to check back every month.

This will be a great solution. It is still under development.

Too little time for everything, I'd say.

Samsung i780 any timeline for resolution?

Postby lineation » Mon Jul 27, 2009 6:20 pm

I have looked at Blue Audio & must say it looks really good with excellent functionality compared to other BT audio divert apps

None of the apps work with my phone but you appear to be the only place were the issue is recognised & a solution in development

It would be great to some indication when this release is likely to be

I am happy to assist with any beta testing as have already rebuilt my phone with different flavours of WM to try to find a solution myself so can easily get up & running if a test fails

Thank you!

We will contact you regarding the beta testing details, as soon as the development reaches that state.
