BlueAudio Problems and Suggestions

Great application. I was using your freeware version until I got a second A2DP device.

I have an Acer M900 (WM 6.1), the Plantronics P590, and now the Samsung SBH-650. I tested before buying BlueAudio but obviously not enough.


Problem 1 - I can mix and match configurations using the standard BT control panel, but trying to do the same in BlueAudio results in errors. Usually I'm just using the P590 headphones. When I get into my car I keep the P590 connected as hands-free and use the SBH-650 for wireless stereo. When I leave the car I set the P590 as wireless stereo again. As I said initially, this works every time with no errors using the default BT control panel but not in Blue Audio. I get different errors almost every time I try to use BlueAudio. I can give more detailed info, just let me know if it's best here or somewhere else.

Problem 2 - Icons are inconsistent and on occasion unclear. Icons that mean the same thing under different A2DP devices look different. There is also a grey box in the middle of all menus within the windowed application. I can send detailed screen shots, just let me know the appropriate method.



Suggestion 1 - Can you allow the same Today screen half-size icons in BlueAudio that are in A2DP Toggle?

Suggestion 2 - A direct link to the BT control panel from the today screen.



Great concept, gladly paid for. I just hope to get the kinks worked out.

Hello Renae, many thanks for the detailed description.

Please include the details for Problem1 and the screenshots for Problem2.

Regarding the half size icons, we can consider that for the next version, but we had in mind the users needing finger friendly access in this current release.

I’ am testing Blueaudio on my phone HTC Touch HD2 whit WM6.5 Dutch
First the layout of the program is great (very good).
I have used A2DPToggle on a HTC Tynt II and thinks this wil be work great on my HD just what i needing

But then application has 3 bugs
I thinks that the Settings only must function if there is a Bluetooth headsets connected.

Bug 1 and 2: on my phone the auto answer and auto speakerphone function are working without a Bluetooth headsets ore other headset connected.

Bug 3: Turn on Bluetooth and auto Bluetooth is not working

Can you please send my a replay message if there is a solution for the bugs

Bug3 is related to the fact that A2DPToggle uses the Microsoft BT Stack and your HD2 has Broadcom.

We might be able to fix this in another release.

I have HTC device with Windows Mobile 6.5 and Mobile Shell 3.5
I have just dowloaded Blue Audio, it seems to work but actually I cannot see Icons in menu.
I can only read text.
How can I make it work correctly?

you'll need to install the software in the main memory and not on the sd card
